Brief summary describing the background
and objectives of the trial
|
One of the more difficult ventilator problems confronting physicians in the critical care unit is the management of patients who have unilateral lung disease (ULD) as ventilator associated pneumonia (VAP). This study was conducted to compare the efficacy of manual hyperinflation (MHI) in supine versus lateral decubitus position on Partial pressure of oxygen (PaO2), Partial pressure of carbon dioxide (PaCO2), Oxygen saturation (SaO2) and ratio of partial pressure of oxygen and fraction inspired oxygen (PaO2/FiO2). in those patients. |
