Official scientific title Blastocyst versus day 2 transfer in ICSI cycles for male factor infertility: A multicenter Randomized Controlled Trial
Brief summary describing the background and objectives of the trial Pregnancy rates after ICSI are better with blastocyst transfer than day 2 transfer. The eficacy of blastocyst transfer in male factor infertility is not clear. The aim of the current prospective randomized trial is to evaluate blastocyst transfer in male factor infertility as defined by WHO criteria (2010) as compared to day 2 transfer.

1. Male factor according to WHO (2010) Count <15 millions Total motility <40% Poor response to ovarian stimulation as defined by ESHRE consensus (the Bologna criteria) (2011) At least two of the following three features must be present: Advanced maternal age (¿40 years) or any other risk factor for POR; A previous POR (¿3 oocytes with a conventional stimulation protocol); An abnormal ovarian reserve test (i.e. AFC ,5¿7 follicles or AMH ,0.5¿1.1 ng/ml). 20 Year(s) 39 Year(s) Female
