TRIAL DESCRIPTION
Public title Effect of Physical Therapy Program on Vestibular Function in Children with Hearing Impairment
Official scientific title Effect of Physical Therapy Program on Vestibular Function in Children with Hearing Impairment
Brief summary describing the background and objectives of the trial The development of balance and coordination are intimately related and dependent on inputs from the vestibular, visual, proprioceptive and motor systems .Since vestibular function plays an important role in the development of balance and locomotion, impairment of the vestibulospinal system in infancy may lead to delayed achievement of balance and coordination .the aim of the study-to assess effectiveness of physical therapy program on vestibular function in children with hearing impairment.

STUDY DESIGN
Intervention assignment Allocation to intervention If randomised, describe how the allocation sequence was generated Describe how the allocation sequence/code was concealed from the person allocating the participants to the intervention arms Masking If masking / blinding was used
Factorial: participants randomly allocated to either no, one, some or all interventions simultaneously Randomised Simple randomization using by using procedures such as coin-tossing or dice-rolling Allocation was determined by the holder of the sequence who is situated off site Open-label(Masking Not Used)
INTERVENTIONS

Experimental Group Peripheral vestibular stimulation exercises EACH EX .10 REPETITION THREE TIMES PER WEEK FOR TOW MONTHS 1 Ask the child to move his/her head horizontally with different speeds while he/she is looking at a target in front for 1 minute. Now ask him/her to move his/her head vertically. 10 times 2 Ask the child to look at his/her thumb while he/ she is moving his head and trunk together on a rotational chair. 10 times 3 Ask the child to look at a target on a wall while walking, moving his/her head horizontally for 15 seconds. Then ask him/her to do it while he/she is moving his/ her head vertically. 10 times 4 Put 2 targets horizontally in front of a child on the wall. Ask him to look at one target for 10 seconds. Afterward, ask him to look at the next target with head fixed. Now ask him/ her to move his head toward the second target. Then Now put the targets vertically and repeat the exercise. Ask the child to do it faster time by time 10 times NB: all exercises applied according to patient to tolerance. rest in case of signs and symptoms vestibular over stimulation. orders of exercise according to patient tolerance. 5
