Paediatric medicines Regulators' Network (PmRN)
There is a significant need for research and development of paediatric medicines.
The lack of suitable paediatric medicines, paired with inconsistent regulatory frameworks,
poses significant risks to a particularly vulnerable patient population. As part
of the WHO's Better Medicines for Children initiative a Paediatric medicines Regulators'
Network (PmRN) has been set up with representatives from national medicines regulatory
authorities (NMRAs) from all regions.
Vaccines for Africa (VACFA)
VACFA is a partnership of concerned individuals and organisations who have come
together with the expressed purpose of increasing awareness of and promoting uptake
of vaccines on the African continent. VACFA provides a forum for the exchange of
accurate, up-to-date and fully research information on vaccines and immunisation
practices relevant to Africa for health professionals, policymakers, programme managers,
